Hey Will, you don't know me but I too worked in Brooklyn back in the day and I was going thru this site and saw your pic's of the old uniform and buses with the orange and blue logo and it brought back great memories. I worked 36B3 in the 80's and now retired in S.C. Just sayin Hi. Mike Fagan

Thank you for your reply, Will. I heard from Jennifer Frenette, and I can now movetowards closure. I appreciate your response, and look forward to "talking" with you again. Be well!
I know, I should have put up something sooner. Sorry! We are planning to come down and do another ride soon, so I'll let you know. What a great time! Fun city to bike in, and those cabbies really keep you on your toes! Hope all is well with you!
Hello cutie! were you able to get the information regarding Benjamin's family address? Do we know if his family was present on Sat. evening? In case I did not say enough...Thanks for the wonderful experience and opportunity to meet such a great group of people... Hope you are doing well.
Will - I would love any information you have. My direct email contact is nbryant1980@yahoo.com. I am working on posters now and all weekend so whatever you have would be greatly appreciated.
Will,
In 1970 ABC;s wideworld of sports had the State Tourney teleivised that year. I was racing with the Turtles and we had a great team until buckets lol we were tired for first place with the Rinky Dinks from N. Bellmore. (this is the funny part lol) Well they were running 13th and we were 14th. We had one of the worst Buckets teams ever.. after N. Bellmore ran over the PA system we hear general judges to the foot of the arch lmao So we finished second that year........ :o)
Hi Will,
were you ever a member of Farmingdale F.D. I was with Westbury F.D. back in the early 70's and they are both 9th Batt. Your pick looks like I've seen you somewhere lol. Did you ever work Station 41 Queens Gen. or 46 Elmhurst?
There is a B/C in Downers Grove, IL, named Bill Freidrich (I believe that's spelled right) who is a photographer and has a good collection of old pictures, including Caddies. He is on SmugMug, but I can find him better on www.5-11club.org. The 5-11 club is a group of buffs who operate canteens in Chicago. Go to links, and his complete collection can be accessed.
Only worked one ambulance with a Q and it was a box. Came up to an intersection one night and hit the Q. The crew bitched me out for dimming the lights in the back.
The Caddies had electronic sirens. Took a call in the hearse/ambulance and the fuses blew in the beacon. Yup, running to an accident (to switch into the ALS) wigwag headlights and siren. 30 years later, its still funny.
Don't mind Ed. He and I are just having dun.
I noticed you were on line....... I just have way to much fun poking "Old Timer" stuff @ Dave..... I wonder if he ever threw a pillow in the Q for fun????? Have a good night......
