Nice to hear from you. Training starts now!! A couple of rides you may want to consider are the Icycle metric on March 28th - The ride starts at Udel in Newark, and the Face of America ride (http://www.worldteamsports.org/index.php/participate/face-of-america-bike-ride) that goes from Bethesda to Gettysburg over 2 days April 24-25. The ride is to support wounded vets from Iraq and Afganistan and usually had a large number of them participating. Riding medical personnel are needed to provide support during the ride, so in addition to being a great training ride for the EMS ride, it is a way you can use your EMS related skills for a good cause.
