My name is Tom Bouthillet.

I'm a Lieutenant / Paramedic with Hilton Head Island Fire & Rescue. I've been in the fire service since 1997 and I've been a paramedic since 1995.

I'm an ACLS instructor and I've taught Acute Coronary Syndromes and 12 Lead ECG interpretation around the country in various UMBC-affiliated Critical Care Transport (CCEMT-P) courses and as a consultant.

I'm co-moderator of the EMS-to-Balloon (E2B) Challenge listserv at Yahoo! and the EKG Club listserv at Yahoo!

I started the Prehospital 12 Lead ECG blog in October 2008.

In January 2009 I was invited to be a member of the EMS Advisory Committee for the SC Chapter of the AHA's Mission: Lifeline (STEMI initiative).
