Hi everyone:
Despite the fact that everyone thinks I look like I'm 17 years old, I have been at this crazy game of EMS since I was 16...and have run the gamut from a volunteer CFR, then EMT to Paramedic, to EMS Agency Director, to Regional EMS Council Director, up to my current duties as head cook and bottle washer (also known as EMS Systems Planner) for the Virginia Office of EMS, in Richmond, VA. What a long strange trip it's been.
You may see some of my mindless drivel in EMS World every now and again, and at random EMS type conferences...any stories you may hear about conference related antics and me...well...most are true, and will probably prevent me from running for political office.
The EMS World folks were also kinda enough to allow me to host of a monthly EMS podcast, The EMS Squadcast. Check out the EMS United group page...we always accept new members! Download episodes at www.emsworld.com/squadcast.
Also...I am a participant and supporter of the National EMS Memorial Bike Ride and urge to all to support the ride as well...specific information is at the weblink below:
