Hi Skip,
No, I am not a piper yet. I have been working on the Chanter with the band at work. I come from a long line of Irish/Scottish kilt wearing folks so I can be found in kilt often. Thanks for the link to the survey.
Skip, Thanks for the link to the survey. That's what I was looking for. We currently have an Honor Guard at Nashville Fire, and John Johnson is the squad leader. I had to answer "No" to a couple of your questions on the survey because we currently are not doing those things but have done them in the past.
We are under a super strict budget shortfall (as is everyone else) and our Honor Guard is on a voluntary basis. We do not have funds to even pay members for organized practice time, and frankly cannot get members to attend volunteer practice time. We feel only marginally supported by administration, but don't want to push the issue for fear administration will disband the group. We have even been asked not to request any compensation for time used at funerals, parades, etc due to the budget restraints. Thanks for bringing this problem up for discussion.
Skip,
I received a request through EMS United for a survey that has you as author. I can't find the survey. Can you help?
P.S. Is Dr. Brent Meyers your medical director there? I enjoy his lectures at the Eagles conference every year.
Thanks

Hey a few years ago I was at a conference and was at a seminar that I believe was taught by your medical control doctor. He showed a video of a code inside a gas station. They were able to sync up the 911 tapes with the security surveillance camera and show the code in progress. Do I have the right department? Do you have a copy of this video, is it online, or is it possible to post it to this website? Thanks.
Two North Plainfield Rescue Squad members have been charged with drug possession. The ambulance was not responding to a call at the time, but both men were on call.
