But who do we complain to, to get some action ?? I have talked to so many people I lost track. It took me 2 years to the day to get reciprocity in Wisconsin....all I did was keep sending the same stuff over and over again, following up with calls. I was NREMT, MA, and PA. (and still am) certified.
Just for giggles, I applied to about 30 other states while waiting for WI. and it's amazing how many states i'm certified in, Some were harder, some very easy, some you need to be with a group, some a resident, renewal was anywhere from a couple answers in a website to massive amounts of paperwork. Alaska just gace it to me first time around, but wanted a lot done in Alaska to recert. They suggested I do a "comidy" or something like that and poof, i'm certified again.
I truly learned how much it varies.it's unbelievable.
By the way, a Comment was made on the blog i started about different skills in different states.....Hey Harold, still waiting to hear back from you.
Anyway, I was a temp. EMT in Arizona then when recert came up, they wanted me to have classes in AZ. telling me they have "special conditions" in AZ. that I don't learn up north......ah, like what ??? snake bites ?? got rattlers in MA. and PA. heat, yeah we got that too, but with 80% humidity added instead of 20% ???
