AJ,
Eric and I will not be there this year and I knew last year that it would not happen. The wife has scheduled a cruise for seven days with her family in late May. Since I started a new job having time off will be tight. Eric has tons of things going on well. We recently talked about doing the ride next year. Our training on the bike this winter has been bad.
Does it look like your going this year?

I know what you mean......doing a 60 mile trek about 20 feet from the shoreline, with 25-30 mph NE gulf wind, sandblasting while you fight to keep about 9mph on the bike in the headwind.......yep, I understand.

NYC bike shop:

Arc de Triomphe Bicycles
114-01 Jamaica Ave
New York, NY 11418
(718) 846-2099

I chose this bike shop because we will be flying in to JFK and it is on the way to the hotel. I don't know where your flying into, but there is a ton of bike shops in NYC and the average price is 35-45 bucks for assembly.

Roanoke bike shop:

East Coasters Bike Shop
3544 Electric Rd.
Roanoke, VA 24018
(540) 774-7933

That shold get you started.

haha, yeah right, me setting the pace on the eastern border.......give me the straight away, flat beach road like here in Fl, maybe we'll talk. I'm actually kind of worried about the elevation, never have had the opportunity to train for elevation. As for VA, on the 23rd during the day on Saturday, I am going to drop off my bike at East Coasters Bike shop and they will be shipping it back to Pensacola. I will just head out on a flight from Roanoke back to Pensacola, no ride back to NYC for me.

What's up Dave.....yeah, one of our sponsors, Bike's Plus, a local bike shop, broke down the bikes, boxed them up, and shipped via UPS to Grays Bikes in NYC. They are putting them together and when I get there I will just stop by and pick up my complete bike. Of course our sponsoring bike shop isn't charging us but the bike shop in NYC is only charging $25 to put it together.

Can't wait to ride...... emsride.com

Would you mind if I used some of your information to put into my blog? (-the one I'm hoping to muddle through creating).

Thanks. Started there in September. I love it so far. It is great that all the patients are legit and I won't have to visit the shelter any more. Hope things are good for you. Talk to you later.

Well, you know Nathan, somethings are just not as easy as they apear! LOL!!

I am currently managing only Pauls Valley along with working with all the State functions and attending as many of the RTABS as possible. Other than that I have plenty of free time (NOT!!).

How are things going at the call center?
