A Hero's Story

Firefighter/Engineer Lorenzo Abundiz is a walking miracle and a real life hero in the fight against cancer. Last summer he drove a fire engine across America in his quest to find a cure for cancer for everyone battling it. 9/11 Memorial Patch and Badge Donation Request

Last week a Paramedic from our company passed away. His name was William Heaney III. "Bill" was a very important person to the field of EMS in Nashville,TN. He was the first paramedic to transport critically ill patients on ventilators. "Bill" also helped to write the protocols. My name is Robert Walker, I am a Paramedic in Central Illinois. Some of my fellow EMS providers and I are starting an all EMS not for profit motorcycle club here. The clubs mission is to conduct fund raisers to help needy families in our area that are having difficulties making ends meet or need assistance with medical bills. We have a secondary goal of assisting small EMS/Fire organizations with fund raising for needed equipment.

Some members have expressed interest in calling this club EMS United MC. We are requesting your approval to us this sites name for this organization. The name just seems to fit our goal. EMS professionals uniting to assist the people of or communities. Thank you for your time with this email and hope we can come to some type of agreement.
