Finally seeing signs of the melt in Spokane! I actually have lawn in front of my house. This winters been an interesting one here. During the peak snowfall we used smaller rigs, (brush trucks, and medic units) to scout ahead for our larger rigs. The station grounds took a huge hit this year. Lots of dead stuff. Call volume is finally starting to let off.

Hello...We are located in Stevenson, WA in the Gorge and we have also had the extreme end of the snow this year. Hope spring comes soon.....

Thanks for the link. It is always interesting to compare. Our Whatcom Medic One/Bellingham Fire Department ALS Protocols are available on-line to anyone who wishes at www.cob.org. I also posted them at www.ems1.com/guidelines among all the others. Ours are listed under "ALS Protocol - Whatcom County Wash. EMS".
