I have been an EMT since 2008.

I run with...
*Cape Vincent Fire and Ambulance
*Thousand Islands Emergency Rescue Service
Guilfoyle EMS
(*denotes are agencies I volunteer for)

In Jan of 09 my partner and very good friend was killed on scene when me and him went into a house on a regular call. It ended up turning out not be a run of the mill call. Long story short RIP AEMT-P MARK B. DAVIS 352235. JAN 15, 1985- JAN 30, 2009. Many of you probably heard about this or may have even attended the services. Mark was a friend to all and a very caring guy. He never let anyone down and never let anything bring him down. He always lived life to the fullest. Every challenge he took he did with courage and commitment. Never a dull moment happened when he was around. Ill tell you what though, we all miss him dearly, but we know he is still watching over us on every call we do. Thank you Mark. You are and will always be my hero. "Go Big or GO HOME!"

Been a New Yorker all of my adult life. Joined Ontario Volunteer Emergency Squad as a dispatcher in 1974, became EMT in 1975, Advanced to Critical care in 1993 and joined Northeast Quadrant ALS.Moved up to Paramedic in 2000. Worked briefly for Monroe Ambulance and currently work for Wayne County ALS as paramedic in "fly car". Continue throughout to volunteer with Ontario. Wouldn't change any of it.
