Hey does anyone have any extras of the temporary tattoos? Mine ended up with a flat tire on the back and wings falling off after just an hour. My parents hate it that I have one tat (real) already... thought it'd be fun to mess with them about exactly how much I drank at the bar afterwards... ha which was nothing but coke. :)

Thanks Will. We missed you this year.
To all the riders, support staff, National EMS Memorial Service attendees, and to those who kept us in their prayers this past weekend - my deepest thanks and respect.
It is an honor to know such fine people. HOORAA!

Also guys please take a few moments to look at the video that is posted on my page, it was originally played at the Plains 2 Peaks Conference thanking my crews, but after this weekend please know that even just the two days we spent together mean the world and my continued recovery would not be possible without it.

I had a blast this weekend, altough I only rode the last 15mi I truly felt a part of the Muddy Angels family right away. For those who don't know that was one of my biggest accomplishments since my injury and it felt GREAT. I'm going to get all sappy, but being placed at the front of the group and hearing those of you from the very back cheering me on was incredible. The one hill that I needed help getting up it felt great to have that support. I took it as so much more than just a physical helping... if it wasn't for the EMS/Fire service people behind me, giving me that extra little push thru the tuff times I would not be here today. Thank you so much, I am so very proud to call myself a Muddy Angel, Ohh Ahh and have already started working towards obtaining a much better handcycle and training for the entire ride next year. It was so honoring to ride for me, not only for those whole have fallen but others like myself who have been injured in the line of duty or off. I just can't say enough about how much that 15mi and this entire weekend have meant to me. I know you will all have the typical EMT response "Its just what we do." but to someone who's life is turned upside down and inside out so quickly it means the world and sometimes the difference between life and death. THANK YOU

What an excellent experience! As Mark said, the elevation and the heat were the two biggest obstacles. Thanks to all who pushed me: Mark, Jen, Steve, Deb, Dawn and Jennifer! And to Wayne, Norm and all the countless other people I've met you're all the best! Love you Muddy Angels!

What a challenging day on my bike. 80 miles from Littleton CO to Colorado Springs riding in memory of EMT's and Paramedics who lost their live in the line of duty.
95 degrees is still hot even without Texas humidity. 4-5000 feet of climbing to clear a 7600 ft. pass into the Springs. I live at 700 sea level, the entire ride is above 5400 ft. I was not able to train so I rode on experience and will.
As we say, "A ride to remember"
