The Muddy Angels Ride has ended for this year and OKLAHOMA Team 3022 could not make it this year due to family obligations. With the events fresh in everyone's mind how about a recap of the the events as compared to last year?

I hope that the ride carrried the same meaning as it did last year that everyone was able to represent their state and the medics that died in the line of duty. I fondly remember the hot meals served each and every day for lunch on the majority of the ride and the support from the fire departments who came out for the riders. I imagine that many of the same medics returned this year in much better conditon to withstand riding for long hours and the endless time waiting around for transportation back to the motel. It's only 365 more days till next year and TEAM 3022 will be back on board with more riders and a new jersey. Last year we were able to achieve an unheard goal that has yet been matched by raising $6000 and look forward to meeting the same for 2011 in this tough economy.
Thanks and see you next year.

This has been a "Ride to Remender" already! Jewels has done great coordinating the Management Team and the Support of our Wing Men & Women has been outstanding! Yes Amizon, we all could do with less kibitizing but it all works out in the end. Each Station we visited werer very supportive and took good care of us all.
As Steve aptly said HoooRaaaa, on to NYC tomorrow!

Wow! What an incredible ride. It just gets better every year. The riders and support staff have outdone themselves. The hills have been hard, but the views are beautiful to behold. The regional EMS and Fire services we have passed through have rolled out the red carper for us. The riders have trained hard this year and they have the spirit of never giving up. Yes, I know it sounds all warm and fuzzy, but I'm telling you. Gotta go to the group meeting. Off to NYC tomorrow. HOOO RAAAA!
