To all my MO EMS colleagues (especially SE MO), NAEMSE is bringing its EMS Educator Course to southern Illinois, Carbondale, IL to be exact. Dates are 9-10-11 Jully. As you may already know, IDPH no longer puts on a Lead Instructor course, but they do recognize this course. For more information and registration form, go to www.naemse.org

Hey everyone. Still getting my newbie hours in. 21/50 so far. Action kinda slow down here in the Bootheel, plus 3 of us newbies working. I usually work the LATE night shift. I split shifts with another newbie who is a single mom. 2100 hours until 0500 hours. Part of the job.

Hey Everyone,
Trying to Drum up Teams for the Missouri EMS Stars of Life Championship at the ICE Spring Break conference. teams of three providers compete against other teams for the Missouri Championship. It is a jeopardy style quiz show. I did it in Missouri for about 8 years before they dropped us at Tan Tar A. I want to get it going again. I do this same event in about 8 other states and we had our first National Championship in Texas last November. Sadly, no Missouri Champion. Any one interested? I would like to see training entities and EMS services send teams.

Just got my EMT-B! I've been a First Responder for 3 years and FF for 20. Goal is to become a medic in a few years.

Well...I think I'll just listen for once! I'm sure no one wants to hear me lecture! Pop in and say "howdy" once in a while. I miss my ole' cronies.>>

I am currently in school to become a medic, I have been an EMT for three years. In my area, there are so many EMTs that I have not had a chance to work as for a ambulance district. I have been first responding for 5 years in my area.
