Wondering what most departments are currently using for extracting patients from tight rooms with narrow stairs and no elevators?
Found this EXtretcher and wondered if anyone has used it or have opinions on it

Permalink Reply by Cindy Joan Allard on May 8, 2011 at 6:14am Have you considered dynamite? No seirously over my year of experances I have come to love the Reeves sleeve. It stiff enough to bear the weigh but flexilbe enough to allow some bending . Has handles on end and sides and straps built in to it as well. I have even laid the patient on the stairs and just slide them down . I cant say enough good things about the Reeves. Works great as a sled in snow as well with a couple of straps as pulls .
